Scholarship Opportunity

The Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging will be giving 3 $1000 scholarships to students interested in careers in gerontology or geriatrics.  Student must also include an application essay (2 pg. max) answering "What led you to pursue an education in field of Gerontology or Geriatrics?".  Student must also submit original current transcript.  Application due by May 30, 2008 to:

Criteria for selection of scholarships: financial need (25 pts.), application aptness (25 pts.), writing skills (10 pts.), maintain 2.5 GPA (15 pts.), commitment to do volunteer work with elderly (10 pts.).
